Texas Longhorn?
So, I received a new Gateway tablet PC yesterday and I have been installing the latest software (including Microsoft Vista—I have a MSDNAA copy). I have been burning ISOs and storing them in one of my DVD cases. Well, this particular case has you tear out perforated pieces that happen to look like the Texas Longhorns logo. See for yourself. Coincidence you say? I say subtle advertising.
Anyway, I will write more on Vista at another time. I am anxiously awaiting my copy of Office Pro 2007.

I want a new computer… jealous…
You think I should go ahead and install Vista on my machine with only 512MB of RAM? I don’t have the money to do an upgrade yet, but maybe in a month or so I can upgrade to 2 GB. What do you think?
January 28th, 2007 at 11:23 pmI know that I wouldn’t put Vista on my Dell 700m. It seems to struggle with Windows XP nowadays. I think you could put it on, but it will probaby run a little sluggishly. If you think about it, 512MB is meeting the minimum requirements and generally speaking, the minimum requirements doesn’t mean that it’ll run very fast.

February 6th, 2007 at 12:48 pmFerd, when I saw your “tear out” before I read your blog, I asked Mark, “why does Fernando have a pair of underwear on his blog?!” Not so much texas long horns as it resembles a thong!
March 6th, 2007 at 9:24 amOk, ok… so, I guess it does look like a thong, but I def wasn’t thinking about that when I posted it.
March 6th, 2007 at 9:27 amokay, I have no idea what 3/4 of the words you wrote mean….but yes, that is a g-string, if I ever saw one. Come on Fernando…we know what’s going on….
